Yoga is not just for bendy people, but for everyone, including people that have limited range of motion, joint replacements, and other conditions or restrictions. Gentle Yoga for Seniors is designed to meet the various needs of the over 55 community. In this class, you will move according to your own ability through all the major joints and muscles groups. Yoga is about coordinating your breath with your movement, which helps calm your mind and destress your body systems. The practice of yoga honors and accepts you as a whole person, exactly as you are. Yoga can bring you a sense of ease in your body, improved health and well-being and it’s also a lot of fun!

Slow Flow class format includes traditional yoga postures at a slower, more restorative pace. This class will create the foundation for your yoga practice, including: posture, alignment, breath, meditation and relaxation techniques . Vinyasa combines postures (asanas) with conscious breathing and focus to develop strength, flexibility and mental clarity. This class is suitable for beginners, but can also be helpful to experienced yogis seeking more refinement in their practice.
